Research interests
- My research interests in the area of Computational Linguistics include: Temporal Processing, Question Answering, Discourse Parsing, Coreference Resolution, Information Extraction, Machine Learning Applied to NLP.
- I have pursued my PhD on various aspects of Temporal Processing under the supervision of Prof. Ruslan Mitkov, Dr. John Prager, and Dr. Constantin Orasan.
- I have worked on various research projects that investigated different aspects of Question Answering, Word Sense Disambiguation, Coreference Resolution, Information Extraction, Information Retrieval, and Automatic Language Identification.

- Research Assistant on Balkanet, an EU-funded project that developed WordNets for different Balkan languages.
- Research Assistant on various Translution Ltd-funded projects
- Visiting Researcher at University of Alicante, Spain
- Research Fellow on QALL-ME, an EU-funded project that established a shared infrastructure for multilingual and multimodal open domain Question Answering for mobile phones.
