About myself

PhD
I have just finished my PhD in Computational Linguistics at the University of Wolverhampton, UK, where for the past few (or many) years I have been part of the Research Group in Computational Linguistics, headed by Prof. Ruslan Mitkov.

MSc and BSc
Before coming to Wolverhampton, I have received my MSc in Computational Linguistics and my BSc in Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer Science, "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University, Iasi, Romania.

Research and Teaching
My research interests in the area of Computational Linguistics include Temporal Processing, Question Answering, Discourse Parsing, and many others. In terms of teaching, since 2001 I have been delivering various lectures, seminars and practical sessions both at the University of Wolverhampton (UK), and at the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University (Romania).
