The Computer-Aided Summarisation Tool is the main outcome of the project. This program serves several purposes. The main one is to test whether computer-aided summarisation can help humans to produce high quality summaries in with less effort. In addition, the tool implements several automatic summarisation methods which makes it appropriate to test the accuracy of these methods. Some of these methods can be downloaded as stand-alone applications from the other programs section.

A short description of the program can be found in our EACL paper (Orasan, Mitkov and Hasler, 2002).

More details about the programs and how to obtain and use them will be added in the near future. However, if you have questions please contact Constantin Orasan.
