The Computer-Aided Summarisation Tool (CAST) is a project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Board which tries to investigate how useful is computer-aided summarisation for human summarisation. In order to achieve this, several programs have been developed. In addition to investigating computer-aided summarisation, we also evaluated several summarisation methods. This evaluation was performed using our annotated corpus. If you are interested in the results of these evaluations, as well as other results of the project please visit the papers section of this web site. Several demos developed in this project are also available.
